Representatives of Turkmenistan’s Foreign Ministry took part in the session of deputy foreign ministers of Central Asian countries and Russian Federation, which was held in video conference format. Cooperation in different spheres as well as current aspects of regional and international problems have been discussed during online session. The sides have exchanged the views on coming third ministerial meeting in CA5 + Russia format at the session. Special attention has been paid to the situation in the world related to COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, the importance of coordinated activities for combating of the spread of coronavirus infection and its impacts has been stated. During online meeting, Turkmen side noted importance of regular exchange of views on regional stability and security, enforcement of political and diplomatic collaboration. Initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the necessity of rapid and comprehensive rehabilitation of transport and transport communication between countries and regions, search for new routes and inclusive use of effective mechanisms of scientific diplomacy have been presented. At the same time, the participants of the meeting have spoken for activation of trade and economic, transport and logistic as well as regional partnership. In this regard, the importance of continuation of regular contacts between foreign departments has been noted.
