The Foreign Ministry had video conference meeting with Governor of Astrakhan Region, Russian Federation Igor Babushkin, during which special importance paid by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to comprehensive strengthening of constructive relations with Russian Federation and its regions including Astrakhan Region has been highlighted. Interest of big industrial, energy, shipbuilding and other facilities of the leading branches of economy of coastal region of Russian Federation in expansion of beneficial cooperation with Turkmen partners under existing joint agreements and future projects has been expressed. In this regard, important role of Turkmen – Astrakhan Joint Council on Entrepreneurship, which active work serves to intensification of productive trade and economic relations between representatives of business circles of two countries, has been noted.
