Online session of Modernization group of the Energy Charter Agreement is held (TDH) Multilateral online meeting on improvement of energy policy is held

The Foreign Ministry hosted online session of Modernization Group of the Energy Charter Agreement. Delegations of the Secretariat of the Energy Charter, European Union and other organizations took part in multilateral talks. The sides expressed interest in comprehensive improvement of productive cooperation in energy sphere, which is aimed at global sustainable development. Representatives of the Energy Charter highly appreciated creative policy and proposed important initiatives for provision of global energy security of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The participants of the meeting were unanimous in their opinion that modern realities dictate the need to establish close multilateral partnership between the East and West and improvement of energy policy, in particular in correction of provisions of the Agreement of the Energy Charter, from signing of which in 1994 significant changes have happened in the world.
