Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held online talks with Vice-premier, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation Albert Karimov. Heads of Türkmenhimiýa and Türkmennebit State Concerns, Türkmendeňizderýaýollary and Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency took part in the meeting from Turkmen side. Representatives of the government and business structures represented Tatarstan. General Consul of our country in Kazan A. Bayramov has also taken part in video conference. During the talks, the sides stated steadfast dynamics and constructive character of cooperation with Turkmenistan and Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation under actively developing multiformat Turkmen – Russian cooperation. In this context, the role of Turkmen – Tatar Working Group for economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation has been noted. Perspectives of the partnership, including with leading companies of Tatarstan KAMAZ PJVC, Tatneft PJSC, Kazan Helicopter Plant PJSC, Ak Bars Shipbuilding Company (A. M. Gorky Zelenodal Plant) PJSC), Complex Energy Development Holding and other companies were among the subjects of discussion. Russian side expressed interest in implementation of joint projects in such spheres as petrochemical industry and shipbuilding as well as willingness to supply latest vehicles and helicopter equipment, installation of intellectual system of monitoring and analysis of agricultural works, overhaul of wells. Mutual interest in activation of the dialog in cultural, scientific and educational spheres, in particular, in training of qualified personnel from Turkmen youth has been expressed.
