Healthcare specialists in Central Asia and Russia hold online meeting with WHO Europe

The representatives of the WHO Regional Office for Europe had a video conference meeting with the heads of specialized institutions of the Russian Federation and Central Asian countries. The meeting agenda focused on the issues of cooperation in such an important area as the joint fight against COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Highly appreciating the initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who called on the international community to consolidate efforts and more actively use the mechanisms of scientific diplomacy, the heads and employees of medical organizations of Russia and Central Asian states expressed their willingness to share information, accumulated experience and knowledge in the field of prevention and treatment of dangerous infectious diseases.
