Wide range of subjects of development of partnership on bilateral and multilateral base, in particular under international organizations, has been reviewed during Turkmen – Chinese foreign ministry consultations held in online format. The sides have discussed conditions and perspectives of traditional cooperation, having outlined the economy, trade, oil and gas sphere, telecommunications, health protection, science, education and culture among priority directions. Taking into account mutual interest in steadfast intensification of beneficial partnership and its big potential, the diplomats highlighted special importance of activation of contacts as well as re viewed opportunity to have regular session of Turkmen – Chinese Cooperation Committee in the nearest future. Speaking of current issues of regional and international agenda, the participants of the meeting paid special attention to countermeasures against coronavirus pandemic. In this context, importance and currency of initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on comprehensive involvement of potential of scientific diplomacy in combating of the spread of COVID-19 in the world scale has been highlighted.
