There is special meaning that this Week is held every year in different velayats of the country. At present time, Dashoguz Velayat is successfully developed together with other regions of the country. industrial and agricultural complexes, medical, sport, educational, cultural and social facilities are regularly built and put into operation in the cities, etraps and districts of the northern region. Number of historical and cultural monuments, which occupy special place in the history of Turkmen people, are located in Dashoguz Velayat. Complex of monuments in Kuyanurgench, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, amazes its original architecture. Rich literary heritage of such Turkmen poets and thinkers as Nadjmeddin Kubra, Ashyk Aydyn Pir, Mahmoud Zamakhshary, Mahmoud Pal’van, Nurmuhammet Andalyb, Abdullah Shabende, who used to live and work in Dashoguz Region in the past, is very important in improvement of spiritual and moral values and study of the history of our nation”, - the message mentions. “National culture, art and handcraft occupied deserved place in the treasury of human values. Inclusion of destan art Gyorogly to the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List in 2015 was an evidence of recognition of musical and poetic art of our nation on international level. This destan plays an important role in education of younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and humanity. I am confident that poetic sessions, art meetings, conferences and exhibitions as well as concerts and theatre releases organized under the Week of Culture will be sunstantial, which is very important in the context of popularization of achieved success in this sphere and further development of Turkmen culture, art and literature”, - the message highlights.
