Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held online talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of United Arab Emirates Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahayan. The sides have stated high level of bilateral cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, proximity of positions of sides on the main aspects of regional and international agenda as well as noted successful practice of cooperation under the UN and other competent organizations. Having highlighted the subject of coronavirus, the Ministers highlighted the necessity of coordinated work for counteractions against COVID-19 and active implementation of the mechanisms of scientific diplomacy. Discussing perspectives of cooperation, the sides noted activity of Joint Committee for cooperation and appointed approximate date of its regular session. The sides expressed mutual interest in activation of trade and economic partnership as well as desire to expand dialog in cultural, scientific and educational spheres.
