The premiere of the opera “Nedjep Oglan”, based on “Nedjep Oglan” destan, telling about the Turkmen school of folk music and Bagshi narrators took place on the stage of Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater . In his literary work “The Turkmen Culture”, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reveals the tremendous importance of musical art as the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people, emphasizes the uniqueness of each folk work, reflecting the soul and worldview of the nation. The new play, penetrated with respect for historical roots and filled with anticipation of an even brighter future for the art of bagshi, was presented by famous artists and young actors.
