Activation of beneficial bilateral trade and economic cooperation was discussed at the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan Hugh Stanley Philpott in the Ministry of Finances and Economy of the country. Opportunities of strengthening of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Great Britain in priority directions including financing and investments have also been highlighted. In the end of the meeting, the sides has signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on stable development of the economy.
