Cordially greeting the Turkmen leader, Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on his 63rd birthday - a significant event in the life of every Muslim, addressing the wishes of good health and prosperity, as well as great success in large-scale activities for the benefit of the Turkmen people. According to the IDB representative, under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan successfully implemented important socio-economic transformations that contribute to the steady progress of the country and increase its credibility on the world stage. Thanking for the congratulations and kind words, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan attached particular importance to building mutually beneficial relations with the countries of the world as well as reputable financial institutions. The Turkmen leader expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank since 1994. During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for bilateral cooperation, including in the trade and economic sphere. The President of Turkmenistan and the Adviser of the Islamic Development Bank also considered the possibilities for further joint work in the context of the development of our country. The parties focused on the intensification of cooperation on the project for the construction of a transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India. Speaking about the importance of TAPI, which opens up a wide opportunity for building effective partnerships between the countries of the region and enhancing their economic potential, Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani emphasized the willingness of the Islamic Development Bank to provide comprehensive support in the implementation of this project. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the IDB Adviser expressed confidence in promoting a mutually beneficial partnership that meets mutual interests.
