Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held video conference talks with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier. Having expressed interest of organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in activation of constructive dialog established in the last years, L. Zannier highly appreciated to the government policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his international initiatives meeting interests of global security and sustainable development. Invariable commitment of Turkmenistan to chosen peace-loving foreign course, which priority is to establish beneficial partnership with largest competent organizations and regional structures including with OSCE, has been noted during the meeting. The sides have also reviewed cooperation related to pandemic situation in the world. During online session, which was held with participation of the Ministry of Education and Director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, current situation and future expansion of long-term partnership have been discussed. Collaboration in political, economic, ecological and human scale, to development of which the sides pay special attention, was the subject of discussion. Noting fruitful character of long partnership between Turkmenistan and OSCE, the participants of the session expressed mutual willingness to implement new joint projects of national and international significance.
