The second in this year issue of National Army magazine of the Defence Ministry of Turkmenistan has been published. Social and political, military and historical, scientific and methodological magazine is aimed at education at younger generations in the spirit of patriotism and reflection of success, which are achieved under military reform implemented under initiative and leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The magazine starts with an article dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War. The article highlights that out people was always respected heroes who defended homelands and Turkmen soldiers have made big contribution to the Great Victory. Richly illustrated article describes military parade, which was held on the square in front of the People’s Memory memorial complex in Ashgabat with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on May 9 in honour of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. Military equipment, which was used in in the battle fields in 1941 – 1945, has been demonstrated in the event and military personnel of National Army was dressed in the uniform of soldiers and officers of those times. The celebration was marked with important event – the combat banner of the 748th Riffle Regiment of the 206th Riffle Division of the 2nd Ukrainian Front, in which the grandfather of President of Turkmenistan, Berdimuhamed Annayev used to serve, has been brought to Turkmen capital by plane. It is remarkable that the first page of military and patriotic magazine was decorated by hand-written poem of Turkmen leader “Cranes” and picture with the same name of granddaughter of the Head of the State Ogulbyabek Berdimuhamedova. These works were presented to wide public on June 24th when the delegation of our country participated in military parade in honour of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriot War in Moscow. Article about the visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Specialized military school no. 1 of the Defence Military where the Head of the State has officially handed over service documents of his grandfather – noble soldier and talented teacher Berdimuhamed Annayev, is among publications of the magazine, It is described about education of professional Motherland’s defenders in the context of remarkable event for cadets in the publication. Having become qualified officers with wide world outlook, they would be deserved successors of traditions of brave ancestors and would make contribution to the strengthening of defence capability of our country. The magazine is continued with an article dedicated to the Day of Constitution and State Flag of Turkmenistan. It studies historical peace-loving principles of Turkmen people, which were put in the Main Law of our country in the age of might and happiness. The page of the magazine has a publication about successful spring military recruitment campaign 2020 to the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. It also describes new rules of recruitment of citizens to active military service. The central fold of the magazine is decorated with detailed infographics about cooperation between Turkmenistan and World Health Organization and success in realization of the Health State Programme. The interest of readers will be raised by the article with an interview with the officers who served for 25 years and dedicated his life to educational work in the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. The magazine also has a scientific article dedicated to the development of transport system of the country and improvement of legislation in this sphere. Publications on military and historical subject have also been presented to the readers. One of them says about the image of ahalteke horse in art while another introduce a biography of brave warrior Guly serdar. The article also has poems of famous Turkmen poets dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, advices on healthy life style and current news of the military technologies. Quarterly National Army magazine is published in Turkmen language and is designated to wide reading audience.
