President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on vacation, went fishing on one of the picturesque lakes of the country. Early in the morning, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived at the lake. Getting out of the car, the Turkmen leader admired the local landscape, which is impressive with its peculiar beauty and has a beneficial effect on people. This time, the President of Turkmenistan, who prefers outdoor activities, started fishing. The variety of fish species in the reservoirs of our country, and the constant increase in their number, testifies to the purity of the water and the presence of all the necessary conditions for their breeding. It should be especially noted that the favorable ecological environment created in recent years has attracted about 250 species of birds to many water reservoirs of the country. Currently, there are about 25 species of fish in the lake. Their growing number in this reservoir is an indicator of its favorable ecology, ecosystem stability. At the lake, the President of Turkmenistan looked through the latest printed publications. The articles, published in newspapers, tell about the current achievements in all areas of life of the country, the natural features of the Turkmen land. Various publications differ in depth of information about the local flora. According to the President of Turkmenistan, in the countries of Central Asia, water problems stand as a determining factor in regional processes. The development of the Central Asian states, their economy, social sphere, the level of well-being and the quality of life of people directly depend on access to water resources and their effective management. That is vividly proved by the constructive initiatives put forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at forums of various levels. Among them are proposals to open a Regional Center for Technologies related to climate change in Central Asia in Ashgabat, to develop a UN Water Strategy, as well as a special UN Program for the Aral Sea Basin and to single out the Aral problem as a separate direction of the United Nations establishment of a specialized UN structure for water issues for Central Asia. It should be noted that fishing, like walking and exercising in nature, has a positive effect on the human body. Medicine has proved that it increases concentration, normalizes breathing and blood pressure. Therefore, the combination of recreation with benefit is one of the main principles of leisure activities of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The President of Turkmenistan gave fresh fish caught in the lake to the pupils of Döwletliler köşgi, where, all necessary conditions have been created under the patronage of the Turkmen leader for the harmonious development and education of young Turkmen citizens. The children accepted the gift with joy and deep gratitude.
