On the week bygone, the Turkmen capital hosted the Turkmen-Kazakh business forum attended by representatives of leading ministries and sectoral departments, the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union of Turkmenistan, as well as by a representative delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the course of business forum, the reports delivered were centered on the achievements of Turkmenistan in the epoch of power and happiness. The Turkmen state’s growing economic potential was demonstrated with concrete examples in the light of successful industrialization of the country’s national economy. Creation of business-favored conditions is one of the main trends of Turkmenistan’s present-day economic strategy. Today, Turkmen businessmen have great potential in the sphere of realization of goods and services at foreign markets. In this connection, trade-economic cooperation at the level of private businesses opens wide opportunities. As was noted, international exhibitions, fairs, conferences and business forums held on a regular basis should become a driving force in bringing together business structures. Special consideration was given to the issues of establishing close partnership relations in the sphere of space technologies. Cooperation in this sphere seems rather important since launching of Turkmenistan’s first artificial communication satellite and the projected launching of the next national satellite. Evincing great interest in establishing full-fledged cooperation with Turkmenistan which enjoys a high international authority as a promising and reliable partner, the guests underlined that the main goal of the current business forum was familiarization with Turkmenistan’s economic potential and establishment of efficient long-term relations with representatives of the private sector of national economy, as well as presentation of potential opportunities and conditions for doing businesses in Kazakhstan. Within the framework of interested exchange of opinions on the prospects of the mutuality-based cooperation advancement, concrete proposals were forwarded intended to facilitate expansion of fruitful contacts. Building materials, construction, power-engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical, medical, food industries and others were sorted out among the priority trends of cooperation. A special video film on the implementation progress of Turkmenistan’s socio-economic development strategy was demonstrated to the participants of the forum. In the course of bilateral meetings, joint projects and further trends of interaction were discussed in detail.
