Turkmenistan and Tatarstan expand cooperation

Meeting of Chairman of the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Turkmenistan D. Rejepov with Head of the Agency of Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation T. Minullina and Deputy Head of the Agency of International and Foreign Economic Affairs of Astrakhan Region, Russian Federation A. Aydin has been held in video conference format. General Counsellor of our country to Kazan A. Bayramov, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Association of Facilities and Industrialists, Export Corporation, Kazan Motor Construction Production Association, Scientific and Research Institute of Petrochemical Industry, M. Gorkiy Zelenodol Ship Building Plant, Poliz Company and Ak Bars Bank of Tatarstan have also taken part in the session. Mutual willingness to activate cooperation under strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Russian Federation has been expressed during the talks. Opening of Trade Representative Office of Turkmenistan in Kazan, which is to support successful promotion of Turkmen production and commodities to Russian market, was one of the subjects of the meeting. The sides have also noted importance of activation of Turkmen – Russian cooperation in Caspian Sea and reviewed the opportunity of using of logistic infrastructure of Astrakhan Region, Russian Federation for supply of Turkmen production to the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan side has expressed willingness to continue cooperation with Turkmenistan in all range of directions.
