Celebration concert in honour of the Independence Day

Celebration concert in honour of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat Song and Music Centre. Popular singers, masters and young performers, famous folk and dance bands, the State chorus, Altyn Asyr Orchestra, children art collective took part in the performance. The concert was opened with theatre literary and music composition. Patriotic songs dedicated to independence epoch and beautiful white-marble Turkmen capital have aslon been sung. The program included arias from Turkmen operas, vocal performances on lyric of classic Turkmen poets. Songs put on the lyric of such bright poets of the XX century as Kerim Kurbannepesov and Gurbannazar Ezizov are still loved by people. New arrangements of national tunes and ever-lasting kushtdepdy dance have been presented. The spirit and colour of national traditions combined with modern trends have been reflected at the stage by the State Dance Ensemble and popular dance bands. After celebration concert program, bright firework has been arranged in honour of the celebration of the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
