Online meeting “Turkmenistan – Belarus: Future Cooperation”, which was organized by Trade and Industrial Chambers of two countries, has been dedicated to discussion of priority directions of cooperation. Representatives of leading ministries and profile departments of our country as well as heads of around 80 companies from Belarus took part in the event. It was mentioned that Turkmen – Belarus economic cooperation is one of the important factors of successfully developing interstate dialog. Having huge potential for activation of the partnership, the sides take specific measures for its implementation. Actual information about current condition of trade and economic partnership as well as measures for increment of trade and promotion of business contacts has presented at the meeting. Noting the interest of Belarusian business circles in expansion of productive cooperation the management of the Trade and Industrial Chamber of Belarus has made a proposal on regular business forums and working meetings in video conference format. Production of construction materials is one of the leading branches of national economy. In this context, opportunities of implementation of joint projects have been reviewed. The side have discussed perspective of cooperation in textile industry. Having highlighted that Turkmen textile gradually improves its competiveness in international markets and is on high demand in the Republic of Belarus, representatives of friendly state noted wide capabilities for the growth of trade between two countries. Having outlined pharmacological sphere among priority spheres of interstate cooperation, the participants of the meeting spoke for expansion of the partnership in this field. According to the sides, current webinar has demonstrated again existing colossal potential of trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus.
