Current subjects of bilateral cooperation have been discussed at video conference session with the management of the branch of German Commerzbank in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It is worth to mention that President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held working session for development of national economy on the day before, during which speaking of the utmost objectives of the banks, the leader of the Nation has requested relative officials to strengthen cooperation with competent financial international organizations for study of advanced practice. Representatives of the Ministry of Finances and Economy, Central Bank and the State Bank of Foreign Economic Activity of Turkmenistan took part in the talks with the management of the branch of German Commerzbank. It was mentioned that financial circles of Germany and Europe highly appreciate efficient measures undertaken for strengthening of national financial and banking system. It allowed the country supporting stability and high rates of social and economic growth in difficult time for the world economy. In this regard, representatives of the second largest bank of Germany have discussed perspectives of cooperation with Turkmen colleagues taking into account macroeconomic reforms and successful large-scale programs. Highlighting significant role of Turkmenistan in stable development of Central Asia region, specialists of big bank concern of Europe have said about willingness of Commerzbank to intensify partnership for further movement of Turkmenistan toward the progress.
