On December 8, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session dedicated to the situation in transport and communication complex of the country with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of profile structures. First, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Mushikov has reported on financial and economic conditions of the ministries and profile departments of the country as well as on practical measures undertaken for activation of cooperation between the departments. Further, Chairman of the Türkmendemirýollary Agency A. Atamyradov has reported on the results of program measures aimed at diversification of profile infrastructure this year, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality”, and on fulfilment of the instruction of Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on application of modern technologies and digital system in the industry. Chairman of the Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency H. Hudayguliyev has reported on the situation if the sphere under his supervision, measures for further improvement of equipment and facility base of profile structures and their fulfilment of plans. After, Chairman of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency D. Saburov has reported on the results of work in the sphere under his control. Special attention is paid to implementation of the best modern practice and expansion of range of services in the context of development of national civil aviation. Chairman of the Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency G. Akmammedov has reported on the situation in the structures under his supervision, measures for provision of their coordinated work and successful solution of objectives given to this sphere. It was mentioned that Awtoulag kärhanalar birleşigi Open Joint Stock Venture has been opened owing to the efforts of the Head of the State. Delivery of another shipment of modern passenger buses and taxi vehicles, which were procured abroad, has become an important step toward further development and improvement of activity of the sphere. Further, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Ovezov who reported on the situation in the sphere under his supervision and fulfilment of instructions given by the Head of the State. In this regard, it was reported about the measures for further modernization of the infrastructure of transport and communication complex, development of its potential, enhancement of efficiency of work of profile agencies and development of planned investments. Summing up the reports, the Leader of the Nation has highlighted the necessity of optimum use of all available resources for increment of profitability of the complex and improvement of activity of profile facilities by introduction of advanced technologies, having addressed the officials and Vice-premier with certain assignments. Further, addressing the participants of the session and summing up what was said above, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has focused on important of solution of priority objectives given to profile structures. It is necessary to increase production efficiency of facilities and their profitability. It is necessary to make favorable conditions for multimodal logistics and transit communication for maximum implementation of the potential of the country in this field. At the same time, the Leader of the Nation has ordered to continue implementing digital system to transport and communication complex management and to client service sphere. It is also necessary to take immediate measures for acceleration of digitization rates, further development of Internet network, to attract investments to the industry more actively and to train young scientists, engineers and specialists for digital economy management, the President of the country ordered. The Head of the State has also requested to carry out necessary work for expansion of the routes of international fiber optic communication. Head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has ordered to take proper measures for bringing of Turkmenbashy International Seaport to full operational capacity, increment of cargo volumes as well as income by expansion of service range. With regard to civil aviation, it is necessary to intensify work for procurement of cargo aircrafts for the fleet, for full implementation of transit capabilities in the sphere of air transportation and provision of additional services. In this aspect, Turkmen leader has also requested to take proper measures for repair of the runway in Balkanabat Airport. Addressing Vice-premier G. Mushikov and Chairman of the Central Bank M. Annadurdiyev, the Head of the State has ordered to hold further improvement of financial and economic section according to modern requirements and in the context of implementation of profile programs, modernization of work of banking system based on advanced digital technologies under permanent control. Finishing video conference working session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has wished big success in solution of important and responsible objectives to the participants.
