The fourth release of Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan Magazine, which presents quarterly review of important events related to foreign strategy implemented by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on strengthening of international cooperation and achievement of national goals, has been published. Public and political magazine published by the Foreign Ministry speaks of the development of bilateral and multilateral relations of Turkmenistan citing relative speeches of the Leader of the Nation as well as words of the various government officials, leaders of the countries, heads of international organizations and their divisions, famous foreign diplomats, competent experts and other leading specialists on its pages. The new release is opened with the text of the video address of the President of Turkmenistan to the participants of International Northern Economic Forum, which was held in Seoul on October 30. In his speech, the Head of the State has confirmed an initiative position of neutral Turkmenistan in development of constructive regional and global cooperation, which meets the interests of universal peace, prosperity and progress. Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that while located on the intersection of strategic routes from Asia to Europe, Turkmenistan is willing to give its capabilities and advantages for service to common goals of development, to make input to establishment of economic, trade, investment systems of cooperation. The Head of the State has also invited Korean businessmen to participate in realization of the projects in scientifically based branches of the economy. The magazine is continued with the section on international political activity of the President of Turkmenistan, which cites brief content of telephone conversations of Turkmen leader with his colleagues and high-rank politicians like the President of Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, India, Afghanistan, Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Emir of the State of Qatar. The neutrality, which 25th anniversary was observed by our country together with the world community this year, was the main subject of the fourth release of Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan magazine. It also contain the congratulations on this anniversary sent to Head of Turkmen State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by prominent politicians as well as their articles and speeches. For example, Chairman of the Executive Committee – the CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev, Foreign Minister of Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, who has focused on the practice of Turkmen – Russian collaboration, Foreign Minister of Georgia David Zalkaliani, heads of number of international organizations and other politicians have expressed their opinions on the role, importance and value of Turkmenistan’s neutrality in modern international relations. The other publications offer the reader to review the main directions of Turkmenistan’s diplomacy and its success from the expert point of view, to analyze the main achievements and future development of neutral policy. “Chronicle of diplomatic life of Turkmenistan”, which reflects the activity of the Foreign Ministry on realization of objectives given by the Head of the State and promotion of international initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is represented by big section. Video conference format of the meetings and talks has become the main feature of diplomatic life this year due to the world situation related to the pandemic. However, the distant mode has not caused the reduction of activity of the contacts but opposite, has stimulated the use of modern communication technologies for intensification of the dialog on foreign trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation and on important problems of global and regional agenda. Turkmenistan tries to make its deserving contribution to solution of the issues of the world politics, objectives of universal and strategic aspect in international relations.
