On December 28, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has visited the Main New Year tree of the country, which is placed at the square in front of Älem Cultural and Entertainment Center, with his granddaughters. The guests were warmly greeted by Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk, the usual characters of New Year celebration. The Älem Cultural and Entertainment Center is traditionally selected as the main place of favorite New Year celebration, which people of Turkmenistan meet with joy in peace and harmony. Manmade magic kingdom of blinking lights, shining spheres, snowflakes and various New Year celebration attributes glimmering with iridescent lights has been built around huge tree. The Leader of the Nation and his granddaughters come to the green beauty, which is installed at the square in magic site. Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk cordially congratulate President Gurbnaguly Berdimuhamedov and girls who came with their dear granddaddy to the celebration on New Year. On behalf of the growing generation and all fellow countrymen, Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk have expressed cordial gratitude to the Leader of the Nation for fatherly care of children, establishment of excellent conditions for their comprehensive development and receiving of quality education. In his turn, the Head of the State congratulated all children of the country on New Year, having wished them strong health and success in study. According to the tradition, the President of Turkmenistan and his granddaughters have walked around the New Year tree. Sale of souvenirs, which can be bought using modern payment methods, has been also organized in the magic city. Having looked around the offered production, the Head of the State paid for the souvenirs that his granddaughter liked with his bank card. Ayaz Baba, who was standing next, has presented the chosen gifts to the kids with pleasure. In their turn, the children have read the poems in different languages with great inspiration. Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk have applaud to the girls for the poems that they have read and after, asked Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to take joint photo for a memory about current joyful event. Having expressed gratitude to Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk, the Leader of the Nation congratulated them on coming New Year – the celebration, which embodies friendship, peace, harmony, unity and prosperity. Saying goodbye, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has expressed confidence that young Turkmenistan citizens would deservingly continue the best national traditions left to us by our glorious ancestors and become true patriots of the Motherland and left the place of event.
