International Educational and Scientific Center of the Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry has hosted online meeting of physiotherapy specialists of Turkmenistan and Germany.

Actively developing medical diplomacy of Turkmenistan is an important sphere of the policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Turkmenistan has gained rich experience in promotion of practical contacts of medical personnel, development of efficient measures in solution of issues of health protection of people, scientific and informational exchange. Long Turkmen – German cooperation in healthcare sphere is one of successful examples.

Advanced scientific developments in physiotherapy and implementation of such development into practice have been discussed during current online meeting with Doctor Annegret Kern-Zozo. It was noted that excellent provision of Turkmen clinics and medical facilities, keen interest in development of medical innovations, establishment of international partnership make all opportunities for protection of the most valuable thing – health and wealth of the people.

The medics of two countries are in direct contact; professors of the leading German clinics regularly share their practice with Turkmen colleagues. Thus, video conference session with one of experienced German specialists in urology, Dr. Friedrich Kempter, has been held in February. Turkmen medics from International Internal Disease Center, International Endocrinology and Surgery Center have discussed the issues of prevention, diagnostics and treatment of vesical calcification with their German colleague.

Video conference session of physiotherapy specialists will be continued with consultative meeting with German nephrologist, Professor Roland Veelken on March 4. The sides will discuss actual issues of the nephrology including prevention of acute and chronical renal failure, its diagnostics and modern treatment.
