The issues of the Turkmen-Japanese economic cooperation are discussed

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a videoconference meeting with Chairman of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation for Japan, Managing Director of Itochu Corporation Hiroyuki Tsubai.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan Rahimberdy Jepbarov and Director of the Japanese company "Sumitomo Corporation" Gota Iwanami.

Meeting participants discussed the aspects of cooperation, in particular, the supply of earthmoving and automotive equipment produced in Japan to Turkmenistan, as well as the implementation of joint projects.

Expressing satisfaction with the positive dynamics of trade and economic partnership, the parties discussed the possibility of holding the 14th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation in Tokyo.
