By the Resolution of the People’s Council of National Assembly, according to Articles 11 and 18 of the Law of Turkmenistan on National Assembly of Turkmenistan and by the results of secret voting during the first session of the People’s Council of National Assembly of the first convocation held on April 14, 2021, Kasymguly Babayev has been elected as the Chairman of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan.

By the Resolution of the People’s Council of National Assembly, according to Article 18 of the Law of Turkmenistan on National Assembly of Turkmenistan, the following committees of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan have been formed up:

The Committee for human rights and freedoms;

The Committee for economics, finances and social policy;

The Committee for science, education, digital system, sports and culture;

The Committee for regional development, environment protection and agricultural policy;

The Committee for international affairs.

Guvanchmyat Agayev has been elected as the Chairman of the Committee for economics, finances and social policy of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan;

Merdan Halnazarov has been elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for economics, finances and social policy of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan;

Bahar Seyidova has been elected as the Chairman of the Committee for science, education, digital system, sports and culture of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan;

Charygeldy Babaniyazov has been elected as the Chairman of the Committee for regional development, environment protection and agricultural policy of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan;

Batyr Orazmammedov has been elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for regional development, environment protection and agricultural policy of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan;

Myahry Byashimova has been elected as the Chairman of the Committee for international affairs of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan;
