President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has given fast breaking food donation in the Central mosque of the country located in Kypchak. President othe Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Murziyoyev has participated in the ceremony.

Upon arrival to the Central Mosque of Turkmenistan, the leaders of two friendly countries went to the mausoleum where they have paid tribute to the memory of the first President of Turkmenistan.

Muftis of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have read prayers in the mausoleum.

Having left the mausoleum, the heads of the states went to the mosque, which exhibits the ‘teperrik’ gifted to the President of Turkmenistan during haj to Mecca and sacred canvas with the text from Kaaba, which was sent to Turkmen leader as a commemorative gift from the sacred city of the Muslim world.

The muftis of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have read the ‘ayats’ from the Koran and prayed the Almighty to accept food donation and prayers given in the holy month of Ramadan.

Further, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev wetn to the ceremonial building and proceeded to their places.

Before the food, the head of Turkmen state has addressed all participants with a speech.

Having greeted the participants of the ‘iftar’, Turkmen leader noted that following primordial tradition of the ancestors, all have gathered at one table after seven days of his father death.

The head of the state extended his gratitude for numerous condolences on passing of Myaliguly-aga and noted that guests from Uzbekistan also participate in fast breaking food donation, which is given in the month of Ramadan.

From the old times, our nations keep friendly and fraternal relations with Uzbekistan and its people. Our ancestors thought that “neighbor will help on the Judgement Day”.

In the end of his speech, the head of the state has extended deep respect and gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Uzbek people for the participation in current event.

Further, the leader of Uzbekistan expressed sincere gratitude and deep sympathy to the President of Turkmenistan, his family and friendly Turkmen people on big loss – passing of Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov.

High-rank guest has noted that Myalikguly-aga, who dedicated all his life to protection of interests of the state and society and to teaching, will always remain in the memory of Turkmen people.

Having expressed gratitude to his Uzbek colleague for condolences, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov asked the Mufti of Turkmenistan to make ‘tebyarek’ prayer.

The Mufti of Turkmenistan has read prayers to the Almighty, after which the food was served. After breaking the fast, the muftis of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan has read ‘ayat-tovir’ prayers.

Having expressed gratitude to the participants for the participation in fast breaking food donation, the head of the state addressed the participants with words: “Let the Almighty accept the prayers made in the month of Ramadan! Let’s the soul of deceased rest in peace!”

The elders of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan participating in the ceremony wished that fast breaking food donation and prayers read to be accepted by the Almighty.

Further, joint motorcade of Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to Ashgabat International Airport.

Upon arrival, the President of Turkmenistan has expressed gratitude to his Uzbek Colleagues and said warm goodbye to him.

The head of the Republic of Uzbekistan has left home.

Fast breaking food donations, which are noble traditions in the holy month of Ramadan, during which the prayers on wealth of people and prosperity of the Motherland have been made, ‘ayat –tovirs’ on rest in peace of the soul of dedicated son of the Motherland – Myalikguly Berdimuhamedovhave been read, were given in all mosques of Ashgabat and regions on this day.
