In order to stimulate private enterprises and entrepreneurs in the country that produce goods for export, protect their interests and increase the competitiveness of our goods in foreign markets, as well as increase export volumes by supporting exporters, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution.

According to the document, from January 1, 2022, customs duties on the goods not included into the lists of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th annexes to Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 9925 dated July 27, 2008 “On approval of lists of goods for which customs duties are not paid and on which customs duties are established when importing into Turkmenistan and exporting them outside its borders, and the volume of customs duties”, for goods exported outside the territory of Turkmenistan, except for hand luggage of individuals - private entrepreneurs and individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities without education legal entity, are canceled.

In accordance with the document, contracts on the export of goods and products manufactured by legal entities that are not state-owned, and private entrepreneurs - individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity, as well as with the export of goods (raw materials) purchased from legal entities that do not belong to state property and private entrepreneurs - individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity, with the population, at the request of the exporter, can be concluded with or without exchange transactions.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy, the State Customs Service, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange were instructed, together with the Ministry of Justice, to prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals on amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution within a month.
