President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President of Turkmenistan cordially congratulated the leader of the friendly country on his birthday and, taking this pleasant opportunity, wished him good health, prosperity and further success in the highest government post. It was noted under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Republic of Kazakhstan had confidently followed the path of progress and prosperity today.

Highly assessing the current level of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the great personal contribution of the President of Kazakhstan to the development of traditionally fraternal and good-neighborly Turkmen-Kazakh relations.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that Turkmenistan was aimed at widening cooperation with Kazakhstan, promoting an equal, trusting dialogue in all directions, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

During the telephone conversation, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with successfully cooperation established between the two states in almost all areas, including in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.

Confirming the mutual interest in enhancing the interstate dialogue, the heads of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that thanks to joint efforts, traditionally fraternal ties and strategic partnership would continue to dynamically develop and steadily strengthen for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.

At the end of the telephone conversation, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov once again congratulated President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday and wished him good health, happiness and new achievements in responsible state activities, as well as peace and prosperity to the fraternal people of Kazakhstan.
