On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and in his person to the entire fraternal people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In his message, the President of Turkmenistan underlined the gratifying successes of the Republic of Tajikistan achieved over the years of independence in the political, economic and social spheres, that during this period the country had made significant progress in strengthening its statehood, improving the well-being of the people and increasing its authority in the international arena.

The Turkmen leader emphasized that the relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan were filled with new content, and noted that the recent state visit of President Emomali Rahmon to Turkmenistan was an important stage in strengthening the ties of friendship between our peoples, deepening cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Taking this opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan wished good health, happiness and prosperity to President Emomali Rahmon, as well as peace, further progress and prosperity to the fraternal people of the Republic of Tajikistan.
