On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere congratulations to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and in his person to the fraternal people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In his message, the President of Turkmenistan noted that over the years of independence, the Republic of Azerbaijan had achieved significant success in the political and socio-economic spheres and today purposefully continued to develop in various sectors.

“We in Turkmenistan are very pleased with the accomplishments achieved by fraternal Azerbaijan under your wise leadership,” President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed, expressing his firm conviction that through joint efforts, Turkmen-Azerbaijani interstate relations and strategic partnership would continue strengthening for the benefit of the two peoples.

Taking this pleasant opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan wished the President of Azerbaijan good health, happiness and prosperity, as well as peace, further progress and prosperity to the fraternal people of Azerbaijan.
