President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent telegrams to State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Mintimer Shaimiev and Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Gazprom Alexey Miller, in which he expressed sincere gratitude for the warm congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the New Year 2022.

In particular, in a telegram sent to the State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Mintimer Shaimiev, the leader of the nation noted his personal contribution to the development of traditionally friendly, fruitful Turkmen-Tatarstan relations. Taking the opportunity, the head of state congratulated Mintimer Shaimiev on his 85th birthday and the awarding of the Order of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called.

In a telegram addressed to Alexei Miller, the leader of the nation stated with satisfaction that PJSC Gazprom is a long-standing and important business partner of Turkmenistan in the gas sector. Noting the contribution of the head of the largest company in Russia to the development of bilateral energy cooperation, the head of Turkmenistan stressed that over many years of joint work, an effective model of relations has been formed and positive experience of partnership has been accumulated, which is based on mutual benefit and trust.

Taking the opportunity, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated A. Miller on his 60th birthday and the high title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation, received by the latter.
