On October 25, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Mr Erol Tabanca, Head of renowned “Polimeks” Company (Turkey). Having expressed his gratitude for an opportunity to discuss important issues of cooperation in a private dialog, the businessman extended to the national Leader his felicitations on the upcoming milestone event, the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence. President of Turkmenistan thanked the guest for his warm words and noted with satisfaction “Polimeks’” significant contribution to successful implementation of important government programs and major joint projects aimed at comprehensive enhancement of the national economy, ensuring prosperity of the country and continued improvement of well-being of the people of Turkmenistan. Parties discussed the current state of cooperation and possible future expansion of long-standing productive partnership built on the principles of reciprocal trust and mutual benefit. Special emphasis was placed on ongoing construction of facilities of the Olympic Village in Ashgabat that will host the major sporting event, V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, next autumn. The Head of the State stressed the importance of construction of this largest sports complex unparalleled in the region and reiterated the Turkmen side’s unavoidable requirements for highest quality and timely completion of all works. The guest thanked the Head of the State for strong confidence placed in his company and reiterated to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov his congratulations on the upcoming major event, also expressing his wishes for good health, happiness and successful implementation of progressive reforms.
