Last week, 36 deals were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Turkey, Afghanistan, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan purchased virgin gasoline, hydro-purified diesel fuel, motor gasoline and aviation kerosene. Also, merchants from Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates purchased urea and technical iodine produced by “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern.

In addition, cotton yarn and dyed terry products were sold for foreign currency. Purchasing-countries: Turkey, Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 29 million 727 thousand US dollars.

Representatives of business circles from India bought cotton yarn for the amount of more than 9 million 724 thousand manats.

For the domestic market, local businessmen purchased high-density polyethylene (SC Türkmenhimiýa) in the amount of 3 million 960 thousand manats.
