Today, next to the new administrative centre of the Ahal velayat, where its construction continues at an accelerated pace, a seminar «Organic melon growing and its contribution to the environment» was held, which became the largest such open-air event. The forum, which brought together over 500 agricultural specialists, was also attended by World Records Advisor Aydin Turkguju, who arrived in our country.

As already reported, the topic of preparation for this seminar was discussed in detail during the working trip of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Ahal velayat on the eve of the trip to get acquainted with the construction of a new administrative centre of the region. Here the Hero-Arkadag talked with the adviser on the organization of World Records, who informed about the organizational issues and objectives of this event. As noted, the choice of the area where the new centre is being built for the seminar is not accidental and is predetermined by its theme. The peculiarity of the nature of this picturesque corner of the Turkmen land, where agriculture is actively developing, eloquently testifies to the ecological well-being of the region.

In this regard, it is noteworthy that a number of original national objects and achievements of Turkmenistan, as well as events held in our country, are included in the famous Guinness Book of Records, including the largest lesson on ecology, held in the city of Turkmenbashy on August 8, 2019. This is a clear confirmation of the growing international prestige of the Fatherland, the universal recognition of its remarkable successes.

The Turkmen people have made a significant contribution to the development of world civilization, including the accumulation of rich experience in agriculture, which is now effectively applied in practice in an organic combination with advanced methods and technologies. At the same time, the most important factor is invariably the environmental aspect, which is directly related to the fundamental reforms and comprehensive programs implemented in our country in all sectors of the economy, and in particular in the agro-industrial sector. Started on the initiative of the Hero-Arkadag, in the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, these progressive transformations are successfully continuing under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Respect for the environment is an essential requirement for all infrastructure projects implemented in our country. This is also confirmed by the lecture delivered during today's seminar on the impact of fruit orchards and vineyards on the ecological situation around the new administrative centre of the Ahal velayat, which was delivered to a mass audience by a researcher at the Research and Production Centre of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
