Last week, 50 transactions were registered at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Business people of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries purchased for foreign currency the diesel fuel and calcined oil coke produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex, as well as carbon black and sulfur (SC Turkmenhimiya). In addition, the foreign currency contracts were concluded for the freight motor vehicles, steel reinforcement fittings, milling wheat, licorice extract, one-colored and jacquard terry products in assortment, dyed knitted fabric, cotton yarn, yarn wastes and ginned cotton and motes. The country-buyers were: Russia, China, Britain, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, etc. The amount of transactions totaled over US $16,374 thousand. Representatives of business circles of Russia, the Netherlands and Pakistan purchased for manat funds the cotton yarn and raw fatty acid of cotton soap stock (over 8,617 thousand manat). The Turkmen entrepreneurs bought for the home market the milling wheat (over 5,418 thousand manat).
