A press conference was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan dedicated to the results of the II International Conference and Exhibition "International transport and transit corridors: interconnection and development - 2023", held in Ashgabat.

The meeting was attended by journalists from the Turkmen media and foreign media correspondents accredited in Turkmenistan.

At the press conference, it was noted that the Ashgabat Forum brought together participants from over 40 countries, including the heads of national and international transport companies specializing in the field of transport, e-commerce, as well as industrial zones, logistics organizations and large international financial institutions and authoritative experts.

Within the framework of the conference, about 100 bilateral meetings were held with senior representatives of government sectors, international organizations and financial institutions.

On the sidelines of the conference and exhibition, 26 bilateral and multilateral documents were signed between major transport companies, government agencies, associations and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.

The main purpose of these documents is to create favorable conditions for cooperation, to promote progressive progress in the field of transport and logistics.

Also at the press conference, it was emphasized that the transport forum provided its participants with an excellent opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge, strengthen fruitful cooperation, and also to establish new contacts.
