Ashgabat hosted the meeting with participation of the representatives of the Business Council “Turkmenistan – USA”, number of companies of the United States of America as well as branch ministries and departments, industrial structures, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of our country, during which the share of visions on perspectives of the development of long-term successful partnership in different spheres of economy took place. Executive Director of the Council Eric Stuart highly estimated open door policy, which is led by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and enhancing the accumulation of bilateral cooperation and development of trade and economic relations. The participants of the meeting highlighted the importance of close contacts between potential partners and discovery of new opportunities for cooperation in traditional directions, promotion of joint projects, intensification of productive relations in different spheres and investment activity for activation of Turkmen – American dialog. Mutual interest of Turkmen and American business circles toward comprehensive intensification of mutually beneficial partnership, which has large perspectives taking into account growing intention of the USA business community to extend its presence in Turkmen market, was stated during the meeting.
