By the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdiyeva received the copies of the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Turkmenistan Adrian McDade. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Turkmenistan Adrian McDade presented his credentials to the Speaker of the Parliament On behalf of the Head of the State, the Head of the National Parliament congratulated the ambassador on appointment to high diplomatic post and wished him success in his work, which is aimed at the development of mutually beneficial partnership between two states. In his turn, the competent representative of friendly state conveyed warm greetings, congratulations on the Neutrality day and wishes of further prosperity and progress from the Heads of Ireland. During the meeting, the diplomat was introduced with main directions of foreign policy strategy of the country, which main priority is wide international cooperation made in both bilateral and multilateral base under the competent organizations and structures of the United Nations and the European Union. The Head of the Parliament also informed on the key aspects of large-scale projects and programmes for social, economic and cultural development in the country, which are aimed at the prosperity of the people. The activity of the National Parliament and reforms undertaken in law making sphere, which improvement is summoned to enhance the solution of the objectives of the state development, became separate subject of the discussion. In this regards, the proposal on establishment of inter-Parliamentary relations was uttered. The special attention was paid to the issues of establishment of productive trade and economic cooperation, which good preconditions are made by favourable investment climate of Turkmenistan, commitment to implementation of advanced experience and innovation technologies. The Ambassador highlighted that business circles of his country are interested in establishment of firm contacts with Turkmen partners including in computer technologies, pharmacy, renewable sources of energy and other. Having noted the symbolicalness of his accreditation as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland at this momentous celebration date of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan, which open door policy and international relations meet the goals of universal peace, stability and sustainable development, Mr Adrian McDade assured that he would take all efforts for activation of the interstate dialog.
