The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the trilateral summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The distinguished guest at the International Airport of the Turkmen capital, decorated with the State flags of friendly countries participating in the trilateral summit meeting, was met by officials.

A guard of honour was lined up at the gangway of the presidential liner, according to the established good tradition, a boy and a girl in national costumes presented bread and salt and flowers to the head of Uzbekistan.

At the trilateral summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, it is planned to discuss topical issues of developing regional cooperation.
