Public Stock Company “Hyzmatdashlar”, being a member of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, had been allocated with15-hectartes land plot in Serdar district of Balkan province with the purpose of construction of the sugar mill with annual capacity of 120 thousand tonnes. At present, the design work had been finalized and foundation laying is underway. New facility will be equipped by up-to-date hi-tech equipment from European manufacturers. The construction and installation works will be completed in 2018. To date, 1100 hectares of lands in Mary and Balkan provinces are allotted for sugar beet.
