Turkmenistan settles organizational issues on chairmanship in International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea for 2017-2019

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has signed Resolution on dealing with the organizational and other issues, arising from forthcoming country’s chairmanship in the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea for 2017-2019. Neutral Turkmenistan, standing for the comprehensive international cooperation in ecology sphere, realizes major projects and takes the efficient steps on elaboration of balanced settlement of urgent issues of regional and global agenda. The special emphasis has been made on saving the Aral Sea and advancement of social environment and ecology in Aral basin. Turkmenistan, pursuing far-seeing nature conservation policy, aimed at ensuring environmental prosperity both at the country level and regional scale, strengthening of wide fruitful cooperation in this area, is strongly committed to international programs and events, held under the support of IFAS.
