Today, in the festively decorated hall of the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace, a New Year’s celebration has taken place, during which the children of the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace have been presented with gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The harmonious education of the younger generation is one of the basic goals during the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State. It is in childhood that the fundamental qualities of a person, moral guidelines and values, love for the Homeland, reverence for ancestral national traditions, adherence to precepts and ideals are laid.

Among the key directions of the state policy being pursued under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, based on generally recognized standards of international law and humanistic principles, is strengthening the health of young Turkmen citizens who are raised and educated in orphanages, specialized schools and boarding schools, and providing them with opportunities to get quality education.

It should be noted that constant attention is paid to young citizens of the country who need special care. In this matter, the Turkmen people have developed clear criteria over many centuries. Nowadays they are embodied in a set of legal guarantees of protection and other targeted measures aimed at their adaptation into society, social support and preparation for independent life.

Therefore, independent neutral Turkmenistan can rightfully be called the country of happy childhood, where cherished dreams come true.

Today there has been a festive atmosphere near the big New Year’s Tree. The Ayaz Baba, Garpamyk, the symbol of the coming 2024 - the Fish, as well as representatives of the Mejlis, Halk Maslakhaty, a number of ministries, departments and public organizations came to congratulate children from the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace on the New Year’s Holiday.

Thanks to the care of Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov all conditions have been created for the harmonious intellectual and physical development of these children and the full enhancement of their talents.

Children acquire not only knowledge at the Palace, but they also learn various professions that allow them to confidently step into adulthood after graduating from school. They explore the world of fine arts and music, participate in various sports sections and clubs, and many of them are winners of prestigious creative competitions and international festivals held in Turkmenistan and abroad. These include the dance ensemble “Joşgun”, winner of the Gulbaba Children’s Prize.

Young Turkmen citizens have demonstrated their creative abilities at today’s celebration, performing a concert program for the guests.

Performing with enthusiasm and emotional spontaneity in front of the sparkling tinsel and illumination of the green beautiful New Year’s Tree, they recited poems, danced and sang inspiringly, glorifying their Homeland, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the New Year’s Holiday.

The performances of the young talents ended with a round dance with Ayaz Baba, Garpamyk and characters from Turkmen folklore and fairy tales of the peoples of the world.

To the great joy of the children, on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, they were presented with gifts.

At the end of the celebration, the pupils of the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace expressed deep gratitude to the head of state and our Hero Arkadag for a happy, peaceful childhood, constant care and attention, as well as the kindest wishes and congratulations for the New Year’s Holiday.
