Turkmen para powerlifters won six medals at the World Cup in Dubai

Representatives of Turkmenistan won six medals at the Para Powerlifting World Cup that ended in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

Para powerlifting is a Paralympic sport for persons with musculoskeletal disabilities. During the exercise, the athlete demonstrates upper body strength.

The competition in the UAE brought together 173 sportsmen with disabilities from 32 countries. And the success of our athletes, who won 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, is even more gratifying.

The achievements of Turkmen para powerlifters at the World Cup in Dubai are the result of the successful implementation of state policy aimed at creating broad conditions for the training of athletes, including Paralympic masters.
