Today, in the building «Türkmeniň аk öýi», located in the valley «Nowruz ýaýlasy» of Ak bugday etrap of Akhal velayat a concert of participants of the final round of children's music and song competition «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri», devoted to the 33rd anniversary of independence of our fatherland took place.
The annual creative competition among the younger generation is held within the framework of the competition «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» for the award of the President of Turkmenistan and attracts a great number of the most talented and musically gifted children from all parts of the country to participate in the contest.
Before the start of the concert, participants of the final round happy children laid flowers at the Monument of Independence - to the symbol of sovereignty of our country.
Qualifications rounds were held in several stages in cities, etraps, velayats in which finalists of the competition were defined. The purpose of the competition – to reveal and support creative abilities of the growing generation, its education in the spirit of patriotism, love to traditions and customs of our people.
The gathered heard the welcoming message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to participants of the competition «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri» at the opening ceremonies with special attention. In the message of the head of the state, a great importance of national music-song art was marked. Inscription of the epic art of Gorogly, Turkmen national rite of singing and dancing, kushtdepdi, dutar making craftsmanship and traditional music performing art combined with singing on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Humanity fully testifies to this fact as well.
«As descendants of the people, who have brought an invaluable contribution to world culture and have left an unfading trace in the history of mankind, you should follow precepts and principles of ancestors, to glorify friendship, humanism and happy life, expressing love to national culture, its music-song art and pride of them», - the message of the President of Turkmenistan underlines.
The motto of this year «The Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi» added to the creative festival a special atmosphere. Young actors with enthusiasm sang songs of our beloved fatherland, its hardworking people and unique nature of Turkmen land. Songs and dances were accompanied by demonstration of video clips reflecting life of our great country, which has presented to young talents happy childhood.
At the end, vocalists, dancing and song and music groups, folklore ensembles – rising "stars", who in future should increase glory of our national culture, came together.
On the stage where children demonstrated their great talent and bright individuality, the atmosphere of a grandiose holiday reigned, causing a storm of applause.
The final gala concert of winners was opened with the music-poetic composition «Pähim-paýhas ummany Magtymguly Pyragy» performed by participants.
Within several hours songs sounded, incendiary dances, literary-musical and folklore compositions glorifying traditions and customs of the Turkmen people, singing happy childhood in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan were displayed.
The finale of the creative holiday was concluded with the song «Biz Watanyň merjen däneleri» performed by all the participants gathered there.
The participants of the competition «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri» sent their message of gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having expressed sincere gratitude for indefatigable care of the younger generation, creation of all conditions for their happy life and assured of aspiration to follow admonishments of the head of the state - to study well, practise creativity, glorifying our beloved fatherland.
