Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, left for a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the official opening ceremony of the V World Nomad Games.

At the International Airport of the capital of Hero-Arkadag, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was seen off by officials.

Based on the solid experience of strategic cooperation, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan demonstrate their full readiness to give a qualitatively new content to bilateral contacts, to fully utilize the existing diverse potential through the implementation of joint projects in various fields, including sports.

At the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana, where the Guard of Honour was lined up, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was met by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Oljas Bektenov and other officials. Flowers were presented to the hero Arkadag.

At present, the sports sphere is the most important component of not only domestic but also foreign policy successfully implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which the constructive initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people have received a worthy continuation. Being invariably committed to the high humanistic ideals of the Olympic movement, neutral Turkmenistan advocates for building up regional and international partnership in this area.
