President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the General-Secretary of the United Nations, António Guterres, on the occasion of UN Day.

«I recall with pride your visit to Turkmenistan in July 2024. During it, we discussed in detail a number of issues on enhancing our country's interaction with the United Nations in various fields», -the head of state emphasised in his message.

Multifaceted and long-term cooperation with the UN is one of the strategically important and priority areas of Turkmenistan's foreign policy. We regard it as a stronghold of the modern system of partnership based on mutual benefit and a guarantor of peace, security and sustainable development on the planet, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted.

Taking this opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan addressed Mr. António Guterres with heartfelt wishes for good health, happiness and well-being, and also conveyed warm congratulations and wishes for new successes to the staff of the UN Secretariat.
