Today in the Turkmenkalinsky etrap of Mary velayat was held an opening ceremony of water treatment plant with a capacity of 25 thousand cubic meters. This event was a wonderful gift to the residents of the region in advance of the New Year’s holiday.

The reform policy initiated by Hero Arkadag and now successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov is entirely focused on improving the standard of living of the population and modernizing the sectoral infrastructure of the national economy. In this regard, one of the main tasks is to provide the population with clean drinking water, for the optimal solution of which targeted measures are being taken in Turkmenistan.

Deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Velayat and Etrap halk maslahaty, heads and representatives of local governments, public associations, also honorary elders and citizens of velayat attended to the opening ceremony of new facility.

Musical and song performances performed by creative ensembles of the region gave a special flavor to the solemn event.

The speakers at the ceremony expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero Arkadag, who take great care of the prosperous life of their people, for the construction of a modern water treatment plant.

The participants of the event also got acquainted with the equipment of the facility: there are installed devices and other technical devices from famous world manufacturers. The administrative building, sewage treatment plants, filtration pools, etc. are located on the 8-hectare complex area. The entire technological process taking place at the facility using modern installations will ensure uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water to the population.

Thus, the opening of a new object was one of the bright events of this year’s era of the revival of a new era of powerful state - the year «The fount of reason of Mahtumkuli Fragi». However, it once again demonstrates the successful implementation of comprehensive reforms under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the name of progressive development of the national economy and further improvement of citizens' living standards.
