On April 27, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received advisor to the Prince of Monaco, founder and president of the organization “Peace and Sport” Joel Bouzou during horse races organized on the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse.

Having expressed gratitude for the hospitality shown on Turkmen soil and the opportunity to meet, the guest congratulated the head of state, as well as the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the people of Turkmenistan on the holiday celebrated in honor of the world-famous Akhal-Teke horses, which clearly expresses the nation's love for them.

Taking this wonderful opportunity, Joel Bouzou also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Stephanie of Monaco to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Having thanked for the congratulations and kind words, the head of state addressed return greetings and wishes for good health and well-being to Prince Albert II and Princess Stephanie.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that he was pleased to meet with the advisor to the Prince of Monaco during the celebrations of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, which is not only an integral part of world culture, but also embodies an example of the centuries-old art of horse breeding.

In this context, the triumphant achievement of the National Equestrian Games Group «Galkynyş» at the 47th International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo (Monaco) is noteworthy. Speaking about this, the head of state stated that bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Principality of Monaco are based on the principles of equality and mutual respect.

During the meeting, Joel Bouzou expressed his readiness to intensify partnership with our country in the field of sports. In this regard, emphasis was placed on the recent visit of the Vice President for Medical Activities of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Principality of Monaco. As noted, the visit was constructive.

In this context, confidence was expressed that the results of the negotiations held during the visit will enrich the bilateral dialogue with qualitatively new content.

As Joel Bouzou emphasized, promising cooperation with a globally recognized reliable partner – Turkmenistan, including in the field of sports, is a great honor for him.
