On May 14, 2025, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the United Arab Emirates, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei and Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of UAE Ahmed Al Sayegh, who arrived in our country on a visit.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet and emphasizing the UAE’s special attention to building and strengthening friendly relations with Turkmenistan, the guests took the opportunity to convey to the head of state warm greetings and best wishes from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Court of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Having warmly welcomed the representatives of the friendly country to the ancient and hospitable Turkmen land, the President of Turkmenistan conveyed return greetings and best wishes to the top leadership of the UAE. Expressing confidence in the assistance of the upcoming meetings during the visit and the intensification of bilateral cooperation, the head of state wished the UAE representatives success.

As noted, the dialogue between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates is entirely based on the principles of friendship, mutual respect and equality. Interstate relations are of a strategic nature, where positive dynamics are observed in trade, economics and the cultural and humanitarian sphere. Political and diplomatic interaction between the two countries is also gradually strengthening through visits and summit meetings.

Speaking about cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the great importance of bilateral partnership. Noting the implementation of targeted projects jointly with leading Emirati companies, the Head of State confirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to intensify cooperation with ADNOC. At the same time, it was emphasized that in recent years, several projects have been carried out in our country with the participation of financial and investment institutions of the UAE.

At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to consistently expand constructive relations with the United Arab Emirates and wished the representatives of the friendly state success in their responsible work.
