The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan held a meeting with Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the significance of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the State Program "Saglyk," developed on the initiative of doctor Arkadag, as well as the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.   

Within its framework, a relevant Agreement was signed between the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship and the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country.    

The International Year of Peace and Trust marks 30 years since the adoption of the State Program "Saglyk," created on the initiative of the Hero Arkadag. Over this period, the healthcare system has undergone tremendous transformations achieved as a result of the successful implementation of the goals outlined in the Program. Advanced practices and technologies, and modern treatment methods are widely introduced throughout all structures of the specialized sector. This guarantees that the medical services provided meet high international standards.  

During the businesslike meeting, it was noted that the humane principles implemented by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship are aimed at strengthening the health of the younger generation, performing surgeries, and rehabilitating sick children.   

In various regions of the country, as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, health centers complying with the modern requirements of the World Health Organization have been put into operation as part of the "Saglyk" Program.  

The Agreement reached has become yet another testament to the fact that the humane principles laid down by wise ancestors throughout history—and serving as global examples—are being developed in our homeland in accordance with the spirit of the modern era. This current significant event has given new impetus to the further development of all structures of the domestic healthcare system.
